Privacy policy

1. Who is responsible for your data

The controller is MISTER E-COM SRL, Foro Buonaparte 56, 20121 Milan, Italy — VAT no. IT08384540962, REA MI-2022165, certified email mister.ecom@legalmail.it.

For any question about your data, write to hello@bravorenovationcontrol.com.

2. A point worth stating plainly

BRAVO is a spreadsheet file, not a hosted service. Once you download it, the budget figures, contractor names, payment dates and decisions you type into it stay in your copy of the file, on your computer or in whichever storage service you choose. We never receive that data and we cannot see it.

This policy is about the data we do handle: your order, your emails, and the way you use the Site.

3. What we collect, why, and on what legal basis

To sell you BRAVO and deliver it. Name, email address, billing details, country, and the record of your order. Legal basis: performance of the contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), and legal obligation for invoicing and tax records (Art. 6(1)(c)).

To send you the free Renovation Control Test result and follow-up emails, if you asked for them. Email address, your answers, and your score. Legal basis: consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw it at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email, without affecting anything sent before.

To keep the Site working and secure. Technical data such as IP address, browser and pages visited. Legal basis: legitimate interest in operating a functioning, secure store (Art. 6(1)(f)).

To measure and advertise, where you have agreed. Analytics and advertising identifiers, only if you accept them through the cookie banner. Legal basis: consent.

4. Who else processes it

  • Shopify — the platform hosting the store, processing orders, and forwarding messages sent to our hello@ address.
  • Payment providers engaged through Shopify — they act as independent controllers for payment data under their own policies.
  • Klaviyo — email delivery for the Test result and marketing emails.
  • Meta Platforms Ireland — measurement and advertising on Facebook and Instagram, where you have accepted advertising cookies.
  • Proton AG — the mail provider hosting the inbox that receives messages sent to hello@bravorenovationcontrol.com.

We use the Meta pixel and the Meta Conversions API to measure the results of our advertising and to show ads on Facebook and Instagram. Both are activated only if you accept advertising cookies through the banner on your first visit. When they are active, we share events such as page views, completion of the Renovation Control Test, checkout and purchase, together with identifiers such as a hashed version of your email address and your IP address. The Conversions API sends these events from our server rather than your browser, but it is subject to the same consent: if you refuse advertising cookies, nothing is sent. Meta processes that data as an independent controller under its own terms. You can withdraw your consent at any time through the banner, and the sharing stops.

Each acts as a processor on our instructions under a data processing agreement, except where indicated otherwise. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with contractors, builders, suppliers or any other party in the renovation industry.

5. Transfers outside the EEA

Some of these providers are established outside the European Economic Area. Where that is the case, transfers are made under the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or another lawful transfer mechanism. You can ask us which one applies to a given provider.

6. How long we keep it

  • Order and invoice data: for the period required by Italian tax and accounting law.
  • Marketing consent and email history: until you unsubscribe, and for a short period afterwards to prove that consent existed.
  • Technical and security logs: a limited period consistent with their purpose.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to processing, to receive it in a portable format, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

Write to hello@bravorenovationcontrol.com. We reply within one month. If you believe we have handled your data unlawfully you may complain to the Italian supervisory authority — the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali — or to the authority in your country of residence.

8. Cookies

The Site uses cookies that are strictly necessary for it to function, and — only with your consent — cookies for analytics and advertising. You can give, refuse and change your choices through the banner shown on your first visit.

9. Changes

We update this policy when our processing changes. The version published on the Site is always the one in force.
