Refund policy
The short version
If the product is faulty or not as described, you have legal remedies that can include repair or replacement, a price reduction or, where applicable, a refund. Those legal rights are separate from our goodwill refund and are protected for the period required by applicable law.
If you simply changed your mind: before payment you tick a box asking us to release the download immediately, and that ends the law's 14-day withdrawal right. In its place we give you a 14-day goodwill refund. It is our own promise rather than a legal right, and we honour it.
1. Right of withdrawal (change of mind)
As a consumer in the European Union you generally have 14 days from the conclusion of the contract to withdraw without giving a reason.
When the right does not apply. For digital content supplied without a tangible medium, the right of withdrawal is lost once supply has begun, if before that you:
- expressly asked us to begin supply immediately, and
- acknowledged that by doing so you would lose the right of withdrawal,
and we confirmed that agreement to you on a durable medium.
We collect that consent on the cart page, immediately before payment. The box is never pre-ticked, you cannot reach payment without ticking it yourself, and your order confirmation email repeats what you agreed and records the date and time. So for a normal purchase on this Site, the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply — because you asked for the files straight away and accepted that consequence.
When the right does apply. If for any reason you did not give that consent, you may withdraw within 14 days. Tell us at hello@bravorenovationcontrol.com — a clear statement is enough, you do not need a form. We refund within 14 days of being informed, using the same payment method you used, at no cost to you.
2. Our 14-day goodwill refund
This is a commercial promise, not a legal right. It does not limit or replace anything in sections 1 and 3, and it does not affect your rights if the files are faulty.
Within 14 days of your purchase, write to hello@bravorenovationcontrol.com and ask for your money back. You do not have to explain why. We refund to the payment method you used, at the latest within 14 days of your request.
Two limits, stated plainly rather than buried: one goodwill refund per customer, and we may decline it where there is evidence of abuse, such as repeated purchase-and-refund cycles. Neither limit applies to sections 1, 3 or 5, which are your rights and not our promise.
3. Faulty or misdescribed files — the legal guarantee
This is separate from withdrawal and from our goodwill refund.
If a file will not open, is corrupted, or does not correspond to how we described it on the Site, contact us with a description of the problem. We will first try to bring it into conformity — usually by sending a working file. If we cannot do that within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience to you, you are entitled to a proportionate price reduction or to terminate the contract and receive a refund.
For consumers in the European Union this protection runs for two years from supply. If you are buying from outside the European Union, the mandatory consumer protections of your own country apply instead, and nothing here reduces them.
You do not need to prove anything technical. Describe what happens and we will take it from there.
4. What we will not refund
- The fact that BRAVO did not save you money, or that your renovation went over budget or over time. BRAVO organises information and surfaces signals; it does not control your project, your contractors or your decisions.
- The fact that you do not own or do not wish to buy spreadsheet software. The requirements are stated before purchase.
5. Duplicate or unauthorised payments
If you were charged twice, or you did not authorise a payment, tell us and we will investigate and refund what is due. We do not apply the rules above to payment errors.
6. How to contact us
Email hello@bravorenovationcontrol.com. Tell us your order number and what happened. We aim to reply within two working days.
